GOLDEN LEAVES

Background

Sometimes I find joy and challenge in creating new versions of my previous picture motifs, and sometimes I am also satisfied with the result - like with the picture GOLDEN LEAVES - Black/gold.

The subject of the picture series GOLDEN LEAVES is a seed blowing past in the wind. I was walking with a friend when she stopped to photograph a seed blowing past her. It was funny to me to watch, as I'm usually the one who responds by photographing such things. I commented on that, and added that I wasn't supposed to be the one taking the photo. Then the seed blew towards me and hung in the air right in front of my face, long enough for me to take my photo. Then it blew on, and I went home and made the picture series GOLDEN LEAVES, which consists of 4 different versions of seeds in golden, gold and black.

Limited Edition

The pictures are available in sizes: 60 x 60 cm and 100 x 100 cm. Limited edition only - max 25 copies of each motif in each size. The motif is printed on high quality acrylic glass, with a metal backing and integrated wall mount (no additional glass or frame required).
